Since 2020, Gareth Stapleton has served as Non-Executive Director to multi-MOBO Award-winning artist, author, and broadcaster Guvna B. Their collaboration began with a conversation at a London concert and has since evolved into a trusted creative and strategic partnership.
Gareth has played a central role in helping Guvna B broaden his career across music, publishing, and broadcasting—offering strategic business advice, negotiating high-impact partnerships (including equity-based deals with creative tech start-ups), and acting as a sounding board for new ideas. Often working behind the scenes and well outside the confines of traditional music industry models, Gareth brings a fresh and entrepreneurial approach that has helped unlock new commercial and creative opportunities for Guvna B’s platform and purpose.

He has released 10 albums, won 5 Mobo Awards, written two books, produced segments for the BBC, and served as a football pundit for Sky Sports News' Good Morning Transfers.
He has also made appearances on television and in schools to discuss topics that affect young people from underprivileged communities.
